German Bread Workshop – San Francisco Baking Institute

Do you live in the San Francisco area? Want to learn how to make German bread?

The San Francisco Baking Institute is offering a 5 day workshop on German bread making from September 7-11th 2009. The workshop focuses on traditional breads including sourdough rye, whole grain spelt bread, and pumpernickel. Participants will also learn how to make traditional Bavarian pretzels and Kaiser rolls.

The San Francisco Baking Institute (SFBI) is a world-renowned leader in artisan bread and pastry education. SFBI’s global alumni base includes thousands of professionals and enthusiasts. It is the only school in the United States dedicated exclusively to artisan baking.
