The Tokaj-Hegyalja region is noted for its sweet wines made from grapes affected by noble rot, a style of wine which has a long and distinguished history.

Autumn in Tokaj is a festival located in the small village of Mád, Hungary. The two-day event is an exploration of Tokaji wine that includes tours, tastings, and the opportunity to meet with individual winemakers. Participants will also enjoy samplings of restaurants in the area.

In 2002, the settlement became part of the World Heritage Site of the Tokaj Historical Wine Region.

Autumn in Tokaj runs from September 19 – 20th, 2009.
