Krakow Film Festival 2010

The 50th annual Krakow Film Festival willl be happening from 31 May to 6 June 2010.

The 7 day festival features over 250 films from Poland and abroad. Films are presented in competitions and in special sections like retrospectives, documnetary, thematic cycles, and archive screenings. As well as offering a wide range of films, guests can take part in exhibitions, concerts, open air screenings and meetings with the filmmakers.

In honor of the 50th anniversary this year, the festival will also be featuring a collection of 20 films – the best “tens” of Polish and foreign films, selected by seven film critics connected with the Krakow event: Bozena Janicka, Jadwiga Huckowa, Maria Malatynska, Jerzy Armata, Andrzej Kolodynski, Tadeusz Lubelski and Boguslaw Zmudzinski
