Lake Cerknica is an intermittent lake near Cerknica. When full, it is the largest lake in the country. The water comes from Karst springs bubbling up at the Lake’s edge and flows out underground, through sinkholes.

Entrance to Volcji Potok Arboretum, the most frequented horticultural amenity in Slovenia.

Early winter cloud on lake Bohinj. Bohinj is an alpine valley and a municipality in the north-west of Slovenia, in the Julian Alps.

The Unica River in winter. It's known as one of the most beautiful streams in Europe.

Bridge over River Soca in Kobarid. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Soca's distinctive turquoise hue flows for around 100km against a backdrop of high limestone mountains and dense forest.
