<p>Just thought I would share an interesting fact about Easter eggs&#8230;</p>
<p>The world&#8217;s largest Ukrainian Easter egg also known as pysanka can be found in the town of Vegreville in central Alberta, Canada.</p>
<p>This giant strcuture was created to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1974 and to celebrate Vegreville&#8217;s ethnic heritage including English, French, German, and Ukrainian.</p>
<p>The town of Vegreville also has a an annual Ukrainian Pysanka Festival held in July which features three full days of dancing, dining, music, beer gardens, displays and demonstrations.</p>
<p>For more information about the world&#8217;s largest pysanka or the Ukrainian Pysanka Festival festival, you can visit the official Vegreville town&#8217;s website.</p>
